Happy Hallowe'en

When the kids were younger I went all out...decorating the house, homemade seasonal treats, the works.  Now that they're too old (for trick-or-treating, they still dress up and go out) I turn off the porch light and go about my business. Not sure when I became the grouchy old lady next door, but it happened.

This year we actually watched several horror movies, albeit older movies that didn't stand up to the test of time.  and I bought a bag of candy because it seemed wrong not to.

But the porch light is staying off.  I'm just sayin'.
